In addition to President Trump, there may be others who may have committed crimes or malfeasance, or at least acted unethically, while a member of his administration and should continue to be under investigators’ microscope. If any activity is deemed to be malfeasance or corruption, but not a crime, and the individual is a lawyer, including William Barr, Mike Pompeo and Rudy Giuliani, he should be disbarred.
A thorough investigation is required of the entire four years of the executive branch and Trump’s cronies, even if some have been given pardons.
A pardon can only look back and cannot be a blanket pardon for future crimes, only past crimes. His children haven’t been arrested or convicted of any crimes, yet, and shouldn’t have been eligible for pardons, and apparently were not given one. Steve Bannon was arrested, not yet convicted, and was given a pardon.
It is rumored that since the insurrection when the goons were out to hang him, Vice President Mike Pence refused to pardon Trump. Due to his ego, Trump probably never asked. Trump’s lawyers recommended that he not try to self-pardon, probably because the Supreme Court would embarrass him by “blowing him out of the water” by ruling it unconstitutional. Thus, Trump and his family apparently have no pardons and now are not only exposed to state but also federal prosecution.
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance now has Teflon Don’s tax returns, and his experts know exactly what they’re looking for. It may not take them as long as the pundits are indicating. This may go fast.
