Letter to the editor: Danes vs. Dutch

In the July 13 Tribune-Review, I kept looking for where the “Dutch foreign minister calls tariffs ‘shortsighted’ on page 4 (the continuation of the front-page story). The second paragraph of the third column says, “Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen told broadcaster DR that Trump is taking a ‘pointless and a very shortsighted approach.’ ”

In case you are unaware, the people of Denmark are called Danes and speak Danish. Dutch has nothing to do with Denmark. The Dutch people are from the Netherlands, where they speak — you guessed it — Dutch.
