Regarding the letter “Pa., not Fla., has the dangerous leaders” (July 24, TribLIVE): Which is more dangerous, leaders who put their heads in the sand and disregard Centers for Disease Control guidance or those who accept that guidance? I’m proud to have leaders who follow CDC guidance.
As far as nursing homes go, we need more guidance from our leaders in Harrisburg. Nursing homes were a sad case before covid-19. They are worse now.
As far as legalizing marijuana, I’m for it. The drug dealers are against it because they would lose a source of income.
As far as people moving to Florida, Florida has a warmer climate than Pennsylvania. People like warmer climates. Florida is able to offer its citizens lower tax rates because they tax the tourists. Most of the people moving to Florida are retirees who have money to afford Florida.
