In January 2016, when campaigning for the presidential nomination, Donald Trump boasted that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose any voters. Now it seems to me that he doesn’t care that hundreds of thousands of Americans — quite possibly more — could die due to his actions on the covid-19 crisis.
In my opinion, all he wants to do is try and restart the economy, regardless of what expert medical advisers are saying. Why aren’t more Republicans, like Sen. Pat Toomey, not speaking out to decry the dangers posed by Trump’s reckless behavior?
