Letter to the editor: Delinquent property sale shameless, amoral
Your article relating to the shameless conduct of politicians and tax collectors deserves the utmost reproach (“Westmoreland tax delinquent property sale expected to be very different this year,” Sept. 11, TribLIVE). I’ve attempted to equate this amoral conduct of these politicians and tax offices with the command in the Bible to “do unto others,” but found it to be useless.
Holding these un-Godly confiscatory tax grabs by greedy leeches at Westmoreland County Community College adds further shame to the ugly Marxist-styled confiscations of citizens’ private property.
Your article alerted me to one thing, however: I will never again support the college and will alert everyone I can to do the same. Clearly, the Bible proves that “the mind of man is indeed evil.” Pray (don’t prey) for the suffering homeless, and thank your politicians and tax office sleazes for making the lives of the less fortunate even more miserable.
I wish I could say I will pray for the oppressors, but I cannot. That would be hypocritical.
