Letter to the editor: Democratic Party the enemy

Tribune-Review

Letters for and against Trump are myriad, but I see virtually no pro-Biden letters. That is understandable, since there is virtually nothing pro about Biden. To me, he’s a man of obvious cognitive impairment who has been a government parasite for over 47 years, accomplishing essentially nothing except the enrichment of himself and his family by the on-record leveraging of his office.

In my opinion, reasons stated for the deep, seething hatred of President Trump and his supporters usually fall into three categories: baseless accusations that have been debunked, personal opinions and/or the latest, baseless accusation in the Democrat/media queue, which Trump is somehow responsible to disprove. Or else his language and demeanor offend the feelings and emotions of the delicate ones. It takes a “Dirty Harry” to fix the depth of corruption that is the “swamp.” Many Bible stories tell of unlikely, unpolished individuals whom God used for his own purposes.

The financial ruin, squalor, burning, rioting, looting and destruction now taking place in major, Democrat-run cities are a shining example of what I think is in store for our country if we elect Democrats this fall.

I believe that by its actions and stated intentions, today’s Democratic Party has become the enemy of my Catholic church, religious faith in general, Judeo-Christian values, patriotism, the foundation and history of our country, and the individual freedoms that we have been blessed to inherit. I believe I would jeopardize my very salvation by supporting that.
