Letter to the editor: Democrats again on wrong side

Democrats have always been on the wrong side of history.

Eight Democrats of the first 15 presidents owned slaves and encouraged the notion that people can be property. Wilson was a racist. The Democratic god, FDR, twice paved a “trail of tears” — denying 917 Jewish Germans on the liner St. Louis sanctuary in 1939, then in 1942 condemning 120,000 U.S. citizens of Japanese ancestry to a government plantation.

Democrats today seem to encourage the extermination of the unborn and ending border security (ICE), support sanctuary cities and allow anarchists and the homeless to upend U.S. cities (Baltimore, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles). The highest 20 U.S. cities for homicides — all controlled by Democrats — have not elected a Republican administration in years.

Democrats (under Obama) weaponized the DOJ and IRS, smeared a SCOTUS nominee with innuendo and now essentially demand an end to law enforcement while their socialist-minded minions torch courthouses and sing “everything is free — though systemically racist — in America.”

Democratic cesspool cities are in debt, in chaos, in flames, plundered and casualties exceed those of any war zone. Chicago has become “Chiraq.”

The choices should be clear in November provided Democrats do not stuff the “mail-in” ballot box.

When a Democratic socialist cancel-culture mob comes to fundamentally fix your neighborhood — remember the words of Obama: “Elections have consequences.”
