I have written several letters in recent years explaining that the Democratic Party is committing political suicide by adopting a socialist/communist ideology and committing itself to those beliefs. The latest “debates” show they are in full “Thelma and Louise” mode.

Until this year, the Dems have been able to hide their true ideology, but with Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in the process of emerging as the party’s new leadership, it is now the Communist Party USA. The socialist/communists can no longer hide.

Over the past three or four decades, they gained power by advocating class warfare, pitting groups against each other and claiming they are the only solution. They and their allies in the media and academia seem to have developed stereotypes that are now standard Democratic thought — if you are white, you are racist; if male, you are sexist; if straight, you are a homophobe; and if a blue-collar worker, farmer or soldier, you are too dumb to be anything else.

Democrats tell you they are for equal opportunity, but they are really for equal outcomes, which is exactly what socialism/communism is. Socialism destroys market competition and replaces it with government-controlled mediocrity.

Understand, young people, that in a socialist society, everyone comes out equally poor. Check out any socialist country.
