Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well in the Democratic Party. Look at the socialist Democrats as they go about their business. I could see by the State of the Union that they don’t care about Americans. In my opinion, they are putting illegal immigrants first. Public trust erodes when citizens feel their concerns about border security and fairness are dismissed.

Free day care is being proposed for everyone, including illegal immigrants, in the socialist-run New York City, while police officers were pelted with snowballs that had ice or stones in them. Mayor Zohran Mamdani excused the behavior saying “it was just a snowball fight.” Then, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg dropped the charges when someone was arrested for assaulting police officers.

In Minnesota, there are protesters — who I believe are paid — attempting to distract everyone from the billions of dollars in fraud that Rep. Ilhan Omar, Gov. Tim Waltz and the attorney general seem to be involved in. Gavin Newsom is a complete joke — Californians are leaving the corrupt state.

Virginia is headed in the wrong direction too, with Democrats proposing more than 50 new taxes.Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones sent texts saying he wanted to put bullets in his opponent’s head. The increasing violence and threats from the left have reached new heights.

If we truly value freedom of expression, we must defend it even when we disagree with the speaker. Respectful dialogue — not intimidation or violence — is the path forward.
