As I read Stewart Epstein’s letter “Why won’t Democrats take action?” (Nov. 21, TribLIVE) I found it cowardly that he would resort to hiding behind a letter to call Democrats spineless and timid. He must be hanging around different Democrats than I do.
I would like Epstein to tell my construction union brother that he is spineless, or my 86-year-old neighbor , a Korean War veteran. In the real world, a professor such as Epstein would end up on his backside if he dared to call either one of these Democrats spineless.
The Democrats don’t have to take action now that the election is over. They took care of that before the election as they got out there and got new voters to sign up to vote.
