I can’t help wondering how the writer of the letter “How have Dems improved our lives?” (Jan. 13, TribLIVE) can say that Democrats “(started) an actual shooting war in Ukraine.” I would also remind him that the Afghanistan pullout was arranged by President Trump.
With the word limit for letters, I wouldn’t begin to cover all the problems with the line “idiot notion that it would be better for the world to freeze to death as opposed to continuing to rely on fossil fuels.” First, the fossil fuels will eventually kill us anyway, and there are other fuels we can use, such as sun, wind, etc. Nobody ever said anything about freezing to death anyway. Turn the thermostat down and dress warmly. This is a world crisis, after all.
So who’s the idiot exactly?
