Letter to the editor: Destruction of life, liberty, happiness

Tribune-Review

Sun Tzu wrote “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.” The Chinese military strategist is long dead but like-minded people of power still exist.

America and the world are fighting an invisible enemy, and it’s not just the microscopic virus that we can’t see. We are fighting against “the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Unfortunately, a mostly passive, sedated and compliant world is marching in lockstep, or should I say lockdown, toward a new reality, one of complete government control and surveillance, a Draconian nightmare.

After a lifetime of public school indoctrination and television propaganda, most Americans willingly accept the endless disinformation that is continuously fed to them, especially when convinced it will keep them safe. Yet there are some people who still possess the power of discernment and critical thought to see through this dark charade.

One may easily dismiss and scoff at such outrageous claims but the Bible states, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” In these strange days our knowledge seems limited to sound bites from a corporate-controlled media that no longer reports reality but attempts to shape it, combined with an alarming ignorance of history, America is primed to accept the destruction of its life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
