My husband and I found it quite refreshing that Jerry Dickinson, candidate for Congress in the 18th District, found time to stop at our home to discuss his candidacy and to hear concerns about our community.
Over the years, Mon Valley communities have been left behind, the borough of Rankin included. We have had 20-plus years of stagnant leadership and a lack of vision for uplifting our communities. My husband and I are excited about Dickinson’s ideas and possibilities for the region. We believe it is high time to move beyond the rhetoric of living in a “depressed region” and are ready to move on to revitalization.
We believe Dickinson has the vision and energy to start that process, so we are supporting his campaign of real leadership, change and progress. On Election Day, we are asking our friends and family to support Dickinson.
