Is there a better illustration of that old adage “don’t judge a book by its cover” than the Democrats’ so-called “moderate” candidate for president, Joe Biden?
His rallying cry will probably be “I’m your man to bring our nation together, not divide it.” But that is so much more appropriate to bringing himself into line with the radical left wing of his own party than applies to the entire country.
In the 2020 election, if you choose the progressive left’s ideology of social- engineering policies determined by them in theory to be “what’s best for all of you,” give your vote to Biden. If you are comfortable with Obama as your de facto president, and what will be a continuation of his progressive agenda, by all means, Biden’s your guy.
On the other hand, if you can put up with the antics of “the Donald” and you prefer, as a foundation for any government-sponsored social changes, policies that are value-driven, fact-based and sensitive to traditional religious beliefs, then Trump’s your man.
In 2020, determine what you think is right, then vote for it, not who.
