Your editorial “Keep protests out of residential areas” (Sept. 8, TribLIVE) was ridiculous. The Trib doesn’t see a problem with Democratic mayors unwilling to do what it takes to restore order in their city’s various neighborhoods, but is fine with them ordering police to protect their own? All the while denouncing the police? Your editorial should be retracted.
