I am a retired teacher who taught for 36 years, and I am completely disappointed with today’s teachers and their unions.

The president of the National Education Association wanted to replace the word “mother” with “birthing parent.”

A California high school teacher suggested her class pledge allegiance to a “pride flag.” A North Carolina teacher used LGBTQ-themed flash cards to teach preschoolers about colors. One card showed a woman standing behind a pregnant man. Children are not born racists, but can be guided by educators that they are white-privileged.

Also in California, a mother has filed suit against a school district and two teachers, claiming they manipulated her daughter into changing her identity.

The San Diego Unified public school district, in its “Facilitator Training: Workshops for LGBTQ+ Youth & Allies,” offered sample questions teachers might encounter from students, including “Is it OK to masturbate?” and “How do gay people have sex?”

Do not let your educators indoctrinate your children! Stand up and have them teach the tools that are necessary to be successful in life.
