When you are going about your daily life in this age of the coronavirus pandemic, please remember your letter carrier, who comes to your mailbox every day. Take time to sanitize that mailbox: Mix a half-cup of bleach in water (a half or full gallon) and use it to wipe it off. Use sanitary wipes also. My carrier wears gloves, but not all of them do. This not only protects them, but it protects you, too.

If you must shop, wash your hands before leaving the store. Pay attention to what you touch: If your hands touched it, probably a dozen others did, too.

Be careful out there. Be safe and use common sense. Transmission is hands to face, nose or eyes. Together we can fight this. Do your part.
