Doesn’t it concern you at all when one of the many MAGA millions claims that, as president, Donald Trump “did everything he promised to do”? It should.

Did Trump repeal and replace Obamacare? Did he ever balance the federal budget? Did he work out a significant trade deal with China? Did he even try to negotiate a nuclear arms deal with Iran? Did he usher in any infrastructure bill? Did he even make an attempt to pay down our national debt, or did he blow it up by $8 trillion? Did he ever complete trade agreements with every nation along the Pacific Rim? Did he de-nuclearize North Korea? Did he build more than several hundred miles of his vaunted “great border wall”?

No, Trump did none of these things, and his administration left a legacy of failure.

It is often said that “facts matter.” The problem is that the madding crowd of MAGA supporters, along with Trump himself, doesn’t seem to have the slightest ability to distinguish between what is real and what is not.
