As we approach Election Day, please don’t let all the madness and disinformation that is going around dismay you.

If you are legally registered to vote in your area, do so. If you planned on voting by mail-in ballot, do so. The machines are untouchable by Wi-Fi, internet or phones, because they are a sealed system that requires special items to operate.

If you have voted in the past, you should be aware that you must sign in, and that your name must be in the voting book for your area; you are given a number that then is initialed by a poll worker and placed in a special book with your name and number as a double-check. Plus, if your name has a watermark, they must follow the instruction of the watermark.

If you have a question, ask the poll workers. If they don’t have a good answer or can’t answer your question, they will call someone who can aid you.

Don’t let anything stop you from voting, ever. It is your right as an American.
