We must not let the car crash by District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli get swept under the rug. In these times when citizens are hard pressed to buy groceries and medication, let alone keep up their homes with rising utility bills, the way she has responded to this incident is appalling. I call it a slap in the face to taxpayers.

First of all, why does she need a vehicle paid for by us? I drove to work for 42 years and paid for my own vehicle. She chose to run for this position. I don’t feel we owe her or any other elected official a free car.

Sounds like the citizens of Westmoreland need to take a hard look at all the elected officials who are benefiting from “extras” and getting elected on nontruths. You know who you are, and so do we.
