Letter to the editor: Employees of religious nonprofits not guaranteed unemployment
There is controversy lately with the Diocese of Greensburg, but did you know, if you are a paid employee of a “nonprofit” religious organization and you get laid off, fired, quit or whatever, you are not guaranteed unemployment compensation? Just putting it out there. Spread the word!
