Radical environmentalists and the Democratic Party are killing the planet, despite their claims to be saving it.

They started about 50 years ago with their campaign to eliminate the use of heavy paper sacks for groceries. Greenpeace radicals resorted to violence like spiking trees to get their way.

They got their way, so plastic bags replaced paper in many stores. Now they claim that plastics are the worst ocean pollutant ever, so they want plastic bags eliminated and replaced with “reusable” cloth bags. Do they think these bags are going to stay clean, or get magically disinfected? Reusable bags will become germ-laden super-spreaders.

Wind farms are known killing machines, killing thousands of birds of prey, including eagles, every year. Now they are suspected of killing whales.

Worse, the war on fossil fuels will result in the U.S. becoming totally dependent on China and other less than environmentally safe countries for the batteries and minerals we don’t have. Cobalt comes from the Congo, mined by slave labor and children, with about 2,000 deaths every year because there are no rules there. Cobalt is now “blood cobalt.” Lithium is deadly toxic and is found mostly in third-world countries where people die mining it.

Americans will pay more for less energy and worse environmental outcomes. Greeners don’t care. Why not? I think it’s because they are invested in EV transition … it’s all about money. All professionals advocating transition away from fossil fuels should be required to disclose their personal and pension plan investments. People have a right to know.
