We know the game. MAGA says something outrageous — racist, sexist or whatever — and has a belly laugh when normal people take offense. Owning the libs, they say. Surely, this is what the writer of the letter “Who cares about Jeffrey Epstein” (Aug. 5, TribLive) was trying to do.

Let it go, she wrote, water under the bridge. The girls who were taken to Epstein’s island to entertain and be raped by old men were willing participants. With better judgment, they would have gotten out, presumably pre-rape.

Well, consider this lib owned as I find that view to be beyond offensive. Rather than blaming the victims, we should want everyone involved in recruiting and transporting the girls, those who took pleasure from their bodies, and those now covering up the crimes to be exposed, investigated and punished severely. No matter what important elected office they currently hold.
