When I read the Fair Districts PA chair’s letter “Fair Districts nonpartisan” (Sept. 12, TribLIVE), I nearly laughed out loud. One of the letter-writers is a registered Democrat and the other has pro-Biden posts on her Facebook page, but I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

It’s also just a coincidence that when they petitioned to overturn Pennsylavnia’s previous congressional maps, and finally succeeded, Democrats won more seats.

They say they’re affiliated with the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence, but the League of Women Voters are on record supporting abortion rights, gun control and universal health care, all Democrat positions. And I’m sure it’s just another coincidence that the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania’s president, vice president of policy, vice president of administration, secretary, treasurer, six directors and five board members at large all happen to be registered Democrats as well.

If Fair Districts PA isn’t partisan, then I was born on the moon yesterday.
