The letter “Abortion and the Bible” (June 16, TribLive) presents a dismal view of God, making him unrecognizable to the millions of Americans who seek his wisdom and strength each day. The God of Christianity is the God of love. The taking of innocent human life is contrary to the call to love one another. Moreover, an individual can be of any faith or no faith at all and still draw the conclusion that abortion unjustly ends a baby’s life.
Let’s care for mother and child, love them both, and offer compassionate assistance to pregnant women in challenging circumstances.
