Letter to the editor: God’s not just in our churches

I was raised to believe God is everywhere. My mother always told me to say my prayers before I went to bed. My father was on his knees before he went to bed. Our home was not a church. You can thank God for your healthy parents or children and good health at any time or place.

If he’s angry at us, it’s not because we’re not in church; but he may be angry because we put a dollar sign and power before him.

While you’re out there ranting and raving, say a prayer for our doctors and nurses and everyone else who is trying to save lives and make our lives a little easier while putting their lives at risk.

When the churches open, we’ll see how many people are rushing in to fill the seats. Or will they be out golfing our shopping?
