The unemployment rate is low and wages are rising, but so are inflation, interest rates and energy prices. History has taught us that when things get bad enough, we end up in a recession and real estate prices and the stock market drop.
My advice to people sitting on the sidelines waiting for that perfect job to come along is to stop waiting and go back to work. This time next year, there might be a lot fewer jobs available, because companies don’t hire when they’re losing money.
