One day recently my car sprung a leak in the radiator hose and left me stranded on Harrison City Road facing directly on Route 22. It was too dangerous to push the car across Route 22, so I stood outside the car directing traffic around it while waiting for AAA. In a period of 30 minutes, I had from 15-20 drivers offer help. White, Black, men, women — they all offered help. In times like these it was so encouraging to experience so many good Samaritans.
