I’d like to express my support for Diana Altieri Hand, candidate for Franklin Regional School Board. Hand is running for the two-year position. I have had the pleasure of working and serving our church with her for several years now. Very seldom do you meet someone who runs toward a problem eager to solve it. Very seldom do you find that person who will raise her hand to help out regardless of what she personally has going on. Hand is that person.
She is an original member of the Murrysville Emergency Shelter Team. She most recently is a Heritage Trail ambassador. She also is an important member of her church and volunteers many hours there.
Hand understands that there’s a balance between keeping the excellent school system we have now and have had for many years and keeping costs within reason. There must be a responsibility to our council and school board to not outspend what we reasonably take in. Hand will be fiscally responsible while providing the same excellent education Franklin Regional is known for.
I ask that you vote for Diana Altieri Hand for school board on May 18. She will not disappoint.
