Regarding Edward A. Svitek’s letter “Trump & hatred” (Feb. 3, TribLIVE): I find it hard to read such hatred spewed against one man who happens to be our standing president. Elections come and go, and as Americans, our privilege is to vote. I would encourage you to do whatever you have to to rid yourself of your “hatred” which you blame Trump for.

“President Trump made me hate him” is what you stated. Hatred will make your body sick and your mind tormented and cause your spirit to wither. As you stated, it’s your choice to vote however you please, but I would never, ever vote for any candidate who enables the killing of innocent babies. So I guess in this case the lesser of two evils applies.

Your opinion is just that — an opinion. Trying to defame those who don’t agree with you and pigeonhole my privilege is appalling. I feel sorry for you.
