I read that the historic, much-loved Hotel Saxonburg, which has been around for 193 years, is up for sheriff’s sale (“Hotel Saxonburg sheriff’s sale postponed until May 15,” Jan. 10, TribLive).

The article “Historic Hotel Saxonburg set for sheriff’s sale” (Nov. 14, TribLive) reminds readers the town of Saxonburg was a German-founded borough. I lived in Germany for decades, and I see a great opportunity here! Why not a German investor, who may see this as a chance to diversify out of Germany with its lagging economy, and in doing so, obtain a much-desired E-2 visa which allows a buyer to live and work in the U.S. for a five-year period, which is renewable?

A German-speaking investor in Pennsylvania — with its almost 3 million German-American citizens living here — would find a most welcoming community.
