What has become of our once great and peaceful country? Under President Obama, it seemed people were allowed to riot, loot and burn cities. He sent his goon squad to one burning city where the police were told to stand down and watch, but nothing else. There are paid professional protesters who travel our country causing trouble. I wonder who’s paying them, and if it’s legal.
Now we have Republicans rioting at the Capitol. How have we gotten to this terrible time?
The news media saw nothing wrong with rioting, looting and burning cities under Obama. It was called freedom of speech and the right to protest. But President Trump’s rioters are not called peaceful freedom-of-speech demonstrators. The Democrats and news media feel this is a siege of our country and that the military should have been brought in. No more stand down. I’m afraid our country will see more violence — fueled by the news media.
I’m proud to say I’m a conservative independent. How can anyone be proud to be a Democrat or Republican? Our citizens who had their stores looted and burned could not hide under tables like our politicians did. Our citizens lost everything, where our politicians only needed clean undies.
