Letter to the editor: I don’t trust this covid vaccine

I consider all of the covid-19 vaccines “experimental.” I don’t agree that the completion of clinical trials and authorization for emergency use, or the FDA’s approval of one vaccine, make them safe.

It has only been about 18 months, and no one can know the long-term effects that may manifest themselves in the next few years, or generations. No one knows what they might do to the blood supply, your immune system or your progeny. There are too many unanswered questions.

In addition, we are not hearing about deaths linked to covid vaccines, and all of the vaccine manufacturers are free of liability should you be harmed, disabled or killed by the vaccine.

There was too much haste in making these vaccines available to the public for a disease that has a mortality rate of less than 0.05%.

So my question is, if I am in perfectly good health, why would I opt to become part of an “experiment” when my chances of dying from this pandemic are less than 5 out of 1,000, should I catch this virus? I choose to err on the side of my safety, as I have friends who got the “jab” and had serious complications shortly thereafter.

Do the research. Follow the science.
