I am writing to say thank you to the wonderful parishioners of Logan’s Ferry Presbyterian Church (Parnassus). I was told they are responsible for lighting the beautiful cross that sits high on the hilltop above the bottom of Coxcomb Hill (Route 909) for all to see, from dusk till dawn.

Due to the pandemic, I have lost my only two siblings, and my daughter lost her fiance. The cross is truly a beacon of light and hope in these troubled times. I have a stunning view from my back deck and bedroom windows. I know several thousand cars pass it every day.

When you see that cross, take a moment to count your blessings, then count them twice. The more you count them, the more they will multiply. Give one away a day to make room for a new one. Take care, be safe, stay healthy. God bless you and your family during this Lenten season. Believe in your faith, have hope and know that all light comes from within.
