For the past three years, President Trump and his family have been verbally attacked, ridiculed, castigated and lied about by the Democrats, the biased mainstream media and the entertainment industry. And the Democrats have tried every way they know how, ethical or not, to remove him from the office he legitimately won.

Yet he’s the one accused of being a “schoolyard bully” in the letter “Trump’s put-down of Thunberg shameful” (Dec. 30, TribLIVE). Is it any wonder that the president fights back aggressively?

The actual shameful bullies are Reps. Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler, who will stop at nothing to promulgate this partisan impeachment.

To understand why this one-party impeachment is so dangerous to our country, study the writings of constitutional scholars Kenneth Starr, Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley. The constitutional balance of power among the president, Congress and Supreme Court can be easily destroyed by this low-bar impeachment, negating the executive branch.

The Founding Fathers never intended impeachment to replace free elections.

This all makes me wonder whatever happened to the working-class Democratic Party of Jack Kennedy.
