Most of Gen Z are now old enough to vote. Here are some of the important issues for Gen Z.

Reproductive rights — In Democrat-controlled Pennsylvania, abortions are allowed up to 24 weeks. In Republican West Virginia, nearly all abortions are banned. Kamala Harris would like abortions to be legal nationwide.

School shootings — Harris is in favor of a ban on weapons like the one used in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. Trump is endorsed by the National Rifle Association.

The economy/jobs — Presidents have little power to affect the economy unilaterally. The Federal Reserve controls monetary policy and interest rates. Inflation was worse under Biden; however, average pay is up, and unemployment is the lowest it’s been in 50 years.

Student loan forgiveness — The Biden administration has canceled over $1.5 billion in student loans for 4.7 million people. Trump and the Republicans are opposed to this.

Climate change — There are currently 123 members of Congress who deny climate change is real and/or man-made. They are all Republicans.

I hope you make your voice heard.
