I am having a problem believing Allegheny County executive candidate Sara Innamorato on her explanation on her “former” affiliation with the Democratic Socialists of America. She claims she left in 2018 to run for the Pennsylvania state House. This is my first red flag, because it appears to be a political move.
Now, when the DSA releases a statement blaming Israel and the United States for the attack and loss of lives without mentioning Hamas, I think her response was political because, during the debate with Joe Rockey, when asked about her affiliation with the group and whether she is a socialist, she admitted she had been affiliated, adding that she is not a socialist but is a pragmatic progressive. This is my second red flag.
Voters, please think about where she will take our county, for as much as she denies it, socialism seems to be her choice.
