Letter to the editor: Instead of right and left, let's look at what Trump has accomplished
Our politics seems to have evolved mostly into the outspoken haters of President Donald J. Trump versus his loyal Make America Great Again supporters. To me, it’s basically lifetime left-wing socialist politicians attacking a conservative, capitalist businessman president.
When you ask their reasons, they both produce lists of conflicting “facts” selected from the media. The left quotes CNN and The New York Times, while the right quotes Fox News and The Wall Street Journal, or our very accessible president himself.
Perhaps we all should decide more on how Trump’s policies are working and not what “facts” we get from the media, with their selective news, misinformation and partial truths. Ask yourself, are Trump’s policies reversing the failing policies of four years of Biden/Harris?
Keep in mind that it was the conservative, capitalist, free-enterprise policies of the past 260 years that created our democracy with the highest standard of living and greatest freedom the world has ever known, while the truly socialist countries like Cuba and Venezuela turned into unsuccessful experiments at best.
Do you think that Trump derangement syndrome can be caused by the fear of a loss of job, power, income or importance by lifetime politicians?
