Am I the only one who finds it strange that President Trump is talking about invoking the Insurrection Act on demonstrations against his immigration deportations? Where was he on Jan. 6 when there was a true insurrection against the Capitol? Oh, I forgot — that was a day of love for which pardons to the tune of 1,500 were granted. The leader of the Proud Boys is suing the government for millions of dollars when he should be going quietly into the night because of the bullet he dodged.
My fears for our democracy have only grown stronger with every egregious and unlawful act our dictator in chief is doing to destroy our country.
