Regarding Noah Feldman’s op-ed “Supreme Court unlikely to uphold Colorado ruling disqualifying Trump” (Dec. 22, TribLIVE): There was an insurrection to stop the count to certify Joe Biden as elected president Jan. 6, 2021. Had President Trump led his followers as he wanted would make it so, a true insurrection. But since he didn’t get what he wanted, because Secret Service agents refused to take him to the Capitol but took him to the White House instead, leaves some doubt as to his motive, or if he would have led his followers to take over the count.
