“The plausible impossible” is a phrase coined by Walt Disney to describe the animation technique of overstressing small actions to make them appear to produce major effects or actions. A touch of truth leads us into fantasy. Disney used it to amuse and entertain. I believe President Biden and his associates use it to mislead. Remember the phrase “plausible deniability”?

Some examples:

The border must be secure since we are making drug seizures. Ignore the 2.7 million migrants who crossed the border in fiscal year 2022.

We’ve lowered gas prices from all-time highs. Forget who caused the all-time high prices.

Inflation rate is zero. But only for one month.

“The Inflation Reduction Act reduces inflation.” It may toss a few bones to help citizens, but it is mostly nonproductive wasteful inflationary spending.

The withdrawal from Afghanistan was successful … .

Government spending will lead to more jobs and an improved economy … .

86,000 more IRS employees won’t affect the middle class … .

Republicans will end Social Security and Medicare … .

MAGA is a threat to democracy … .

And many more … .

Claims are getting more preposterous, yet the media does not challenge them. Trouble is, we don’t live in a plausible fantasy reality. We cannot continue to abide by an administration that is ineffective and spins facts into a fantasy world. Why are we listening and why does most of the media allow this go unchallenged? Is Biden delusional or scheming?
