Letter to the editor: It’s clear Biden isn’t up for the job

After the humiliating and bizarre surrender to the Taliban in Afghanistan, resulting in 13 dead and dozens of horribly wounded U.S. troops, and hundreds of dead and wounded Afghan civilians, I wrote a letter titled “Democrats’ double standard” (Sept. 21, 2021), pertaining to President Biden’s mental decline, that was published in the Tribune-Review.

Here’s an excerpt: “We now have a sitting president who I believe if he were your grandfather, you wouldn’t let him drive himself to pick up his prescriptions for fear he would get lost or have an accident. This shell of a man has access to the nuclear codes and is in charge of the nation’s military forces.”

After the recent presidential debate, anyone with a functioning brain should now see that Biden has a poorly functioning brain and is a serious national security threat. His family and inner circle are now and have been for years committing elder abuse, in my opinion, for letting him stay in office. For the safety of the nation, Joe must go.
