Letter to the editor: It’s OK to disagree, but not to hate

So much talk about hate. Are we confusing disagreeing with hate? I am a Christian. I don’t hate anybody but I do disagree with many.

The Bible says to hate the sin but love the sinner. I cannot agree with or vote for anyone who supports abortion. That does not mean that I hate them.

I cannot agree with illegal aliens being accepted into our country. Come in legally and be welcomed, but if your first act is to flout our laws, you need to go back to where you came from.

I am a Trump supporter. That does not mean that I think everything he does or says is what I believe in. It simply means that I didn’t want Kamala Harris as president, and that was the choice we had to make. If the Democrats had offered a decent choice, the results may have been different.

Now I pray for the president and you should too. Instead of negative comments, pray for wisdom.
