We are lucky to have a state representative in District 55 who outworks, outcommunicates and outperforms other representatives. I am talking about Jill Cooper.
Cooper has spent an incredible number of hours making sure she interacts with every segment of her district. She has held events with veterans, seniors, students, health and wellness groups and many others. Her weekly newspaper columns informing Murrysville citizens what is happening in Harrisburg and in our district have been excellent.
Cooper pushed legislation through the halls of Harrisburg in conjunction with a member of the opposite party. This is how Harrisburg should work, cooperating for the benefit of the people of Pennsylvania. Gov. Josh Shapiro signed that legislation into law. Not many freshman state reps can get things done and bring people together for the right reasons. Well done, Jill.
I am going to vote for Jill Cooper in the upcoming election because she has demonstrated initiative and capability to get things done in Harrisburg. She will fight for legislation that is beneficial for Pennsylvania voters and the district she is serving. Further, she helps people get resolutions for different issues. As an example, she stepped into a situation with the state Department of Education recently to help get a certificate completed and sent to a voter who needed it to complete requirements for a job.
I am honored to support Cooper as our state representative and recommend everyone who wants a strong fighter representing us in Harrisburg vote for her.
