I hold these truths to be self-evident: Black lives matter. Brown lives matter. White lives matter. Blue lives matter. All lives matter.

If you disagree with any of those short but significant statements, you are prejudiced and thereby part of the disease and not the cure. Judge by character and not color.

Who among you can say that Dr. Ben Carson, Geraldo Rivera and Franklin Graham are not high-quality individuals? You can’t simply assume someone is a criminal because he or she is Black or brown. You simply can’t assume someone is privileged because he or she is white. Both beliefs are forms of prejudice.
