There is much to look forward to with Paul Skenes and the possibility of Konnor Griffin on the Pirates’ team this year. With two of the top baseball players in the league, why not keep the loyal Hall of Fame walk-in, Andrew McCutchen? His presence on the team is revered by younger players. Fans love him. That sells tickets!

With the astronomical salaries in sports today, a couple mil to keep Cutch would barely be missed. Not to mention his value as a mentor and leader.

Pittsburgh fans have loved him from the first day he suited up.
