Letter to the editor: Klingensmith best candidate for district judge

Tribune-Review

On Nov. 7, voters in Murrysville, Export and Salem will have a clear choice in voting for district judge. Robert Klingensmith is a principled, lifelong member of the Murrysville community with extensive experience as an attorney. His practice involves clients requiring legal support and litigation in corporate, civil and criminal cases as well as family issues and estate preparation.

Klingensmith’s principles are rooted in the strong values he learned growing up — dedication to faith, family and community, achievement through hard work and personal responsibility, being fair-minded in all things. His opponent has a very narrow background with an entire professional career as a Westmoreland County prosecutor.

Klingensmith attended Franklin Regional High School, graduated from Penn State and then worked as an engineer for 12 years. He attended Duquesne University’s law school and graduated with honors in 2000. In the community, he has been active in children and youth athletic activities, serving as a coach and booster for Franklin Regional’s numerous sports teams as well as on a parents advisory board. In addition, he became a board member of the Franklin Township Municipal Sewage Authority, contributing both his wastewater engineering and legal capabilities.

It’s hard for me to imagine anyone who could be better suited for the position of district judge than this experienced and broad-based attorney. That’s why I’m voting for Robert Klingensmith on Nov. 7; I hope you will join me in voting for him too.
