As the 2024 election season begins, several Westmoreland County residents have sent public comments to the Board of Commissioners regarding elections and voting rules. It’s important to recognize the upcoming state-set deadlines if you want to vote in the April 23 primary election. Corrections to your registration must be completed by April 8. Please consider checking on your voter registration today at the state’s website: pavoterservices.pa.gov/pages/voterregistrationstatus.aspx.

Make sure your vote counts by coming to my virtual town hall April 10 at 7 p.m. I’ll review the various voting forms and ballots and the rules, and at the end, take questions on any topic. Sign up here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/mVN1zrU/dougchew.
