This is a “tip of the hat” to Allegheny Health Network and more specifically to Allegheny Valley Hospital for their incredibly well-organized vaccination events.
I’ve had the pleasure of taking several people to AVH for their covid-19 vaccinations, and I’m here to tell you, they ran so smoothly, and we were treated so kindly. From the security personnel who check you in to the volunteers who escort you to the vaccine clinic to the nurses, aides and administrative staff who greet you with smiles and genuine concern … it was fantastic. Heartwarming, actually!
There’s no doubt these have been very trying times for everyone, and stepping up to get this shot is hopefully going to help us all see a light at the end of this incredibly long tunnel. Getting this shot can be very intimidating and, quite honestly, emotional, and the staff at Allegheny Valley Hospital couldn’t be doing a better job. Simply fantastic.
