I would like to comment on the recent attack on Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. While you may not agree with her political beliefs, you have to give her credit for hosting town halls in her district. In my district, Rep. Guy Reschenthaler has been a complete no-show, and clearly does not care about his constituents’ opinions. It is clear he does not want to hear our concerns or face the people who put him in office.
I give Omar credit for her dedication and bravery in this violent political climate, and her concern for the people in her district.
